Site Help

This section contains all the information you may need to make the most from the Partex web site.

If your question is not covered here, or if you have any suggestions to improve the site, then please contact us.

We have tried to make this site both easy to navigate for first-time visitors, and fast to use for regulars. On the left hand side of every page is the product finder. The product finder contains direct links to each of the major product groups that Partex supply. If you are using a recent browser then some of the menu items contain sub-menus (denoted with an arrow), with links to individual products within each range. This is the quickest way to navigate to individual product pages when you know which Partex product you would like information on.

At the top of this centre section there are a row of tabs. Each of these tabs denote a major section of the Partex web site. If you are new to Partex and wish to browse our full range of products then you may wish to start by clicking on the Products tab. This will take you to our product overview page, from where you can explore each of our product categories.

An alternative way of finding the information you are looking for is to search for it. There is a search box in the top right hand corner of every page; Enter your search term(s) here and press "SEARCH". This will then display your search results much like any other search engine, sorted by relevancy.

Within each page there are two boxes underneath the product finder:

The Related Pages box aims to provide a list of pages that are in some way related to the current one. These pages may not be linked to from the main content of the page, but we think they may be of interest to you based on the page you are currently reading.

The Quick Links box contains all the links from the main content on the current page in a convenient list.

If you are still having trouble finding a particular page, then try our website map.

Get Acrobat Reader
I want to save the PDF file to my hard drive but every time I click on the link it opens automatically in Internet Explorer.
  1. Click the link to the PDF file with the right mouse button and select Save Target As... from the menu. Internet Explorer right-click menu
  2. A dialog box will appear, giving you the opportunity to select where you would like to save the file. (NB In Netscape, Firefox, etc. the menu text will read Save Link As... instead of "Save Target As...")
