ISO 14001 Environmental Management Award

Following an assessment by an independent body, Partex has been awarded ISO 14001 certification. This prestigious award, which has been achieved by less than 1% of UK businesses, is an acknowledgement of the way that Partex conducts business with regard to environmental management.

New Product — Identification Tag

Our range of identification tags has been expanded to include a new tag with almost twice the writable area of our previous largest tag. With the exception of the new super-sized TIE-TAG-152, all tags are now available in white as well as yellow.

New Product — Ratchet Cable Cutters

The PRCC-325 and PRCC-400 are new additions to our range of ratchet cable cutters. The high quality tools are for use with copper and aluminium non-armoured cables up to 325mm² and 400mm² respectively.
Product Update — ProMark NG

The new ProMark MK9 NG is the second generation of the hugely successful ProMark portable printer from Partex. With many enhancements and new features, the ProMark NG is set to become the new standard in affordable, in-house, marker printing systems. There is a huge variety of consumables to produce cost-effective wire and cable markers; component labels; and our new terminal block, and heat shrink markers.
RoHS Compliance

From the 1st July 2006, the "restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment" (RoHS) EU directive will come into force. The directive bans the sale in the EU, of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, and other hazardous substances. To aid our customers in complying with this legislation, we have conducted a thorough review of all our products, materials and suppliers. Our audit is almost complete, and we will add a RoHS logo to clearly mark all our compliant products as we confirm their status.
New Product — Red Stainless Steel Cable Ties

Available now, red polyester coated stainless steel cable ties. Available in 2 sizes (201 x 4.6mm and 360 x 4.6mm), these 316 grade stainless steel ties are commonly used by fire alarm installers, and in other demanding environments.
New Product — PLD Key Ring Dispenser & Self-Adhesive Markers

A new refillable key ring marker dispenser containing 10 rolls of self-adhesive markers. Standard Partex legends such as A-Z, 0-9, +, -, oblique and earth are available; as well as L1, L2 and L3 markers to aid with the marking requirements of the IEE wiring regulations.
New Product — Wire Cutters and Economy Crimping Tool
