- About us
Number one: routing wires between the individual points using the shortest route without precise descriptions. This may save some time and wire, but only until the first repair or flat renovation. We can guarantee you that the first unfortunate opening drilled in the wall can cause a failure, of which the impact will be very costly to resolve. All because the system was planned economically, not logically.
Number two: not following the core colours. We addressed this subject in one of our prior articles: A few words about colours. Following the colour codes specified for system components is absolutely necessary! What can be the consequences of not following them, while laying cables? The consequences are in particular threatening for 3-phase loads connected to the system. The voltage accumulating on the enclosure may expose the user to a serious electric shock. And yet you can use electric insulation tapes in the right colours to mark the wires in non-compliant colours.
Number three: unmarked fuses and wires in switchgear. Clearly described, they do facilitate navigating the individual system components. In case of failure, you can easily find the faulty part and disconnect it without problems. Are you looking for a product that can help you to do it? EPL, reinforced component labels, will be perfect.
When laying electrical wires, it is worth following a few rules that help us to do it properly and, above all, ensure our safety. Proper planning and marking of the system is a guarantee of long years of service.
